Autism and Behavioural Science Certificate

This online program provides graduates with a higher level of specialized knowledge and skills as well as the independence required in the assessment and treatment of individuals with autism and autism spectrum disorders. Students are provided with the opportunity to further develop their prior professional knowledge by preparing them to work as integral members of multi-disciplinary service teams and directly with individuals and their families. The program integrates academic theory (course work) with practical experience (field practicum). Graduates will demonstrate leadership in guiding the activities of others and in developing practical solutions. The curriculum is designed to provide students with a broad understanding of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) principles and practices including Intensive Bevavioural Intervention (IBI) techniques. Graduates enjoy job security and career advancement in the field.
