Ryerson University, since 1948, has worked on building a strong academic reputation, and offers more than 100 undergraduate and graduate programs. Culturally diverse and inclusive, the university is home to 28,000 students, including 2,300 master's and PhD students, nearly 2,700 faculty and staff, and more than 140,000 alumni worldwide. Ryerson University is ranked 1st in Ontario and 3rd in Canada.
This university campus is more than 21 acres, tightly woven into the heart of downtown Toronto. Ryerson has recently added three new buildings: the Ryerson Athletics Centre at the Gardens, the Ryerson Gallery and Research Centre in the heart of campus, and a Student Learning Centre on the site of the iconic Sam the Record Man property on Yonge Street. In addition, a Health Sciences building is in the planning stages. The student body within the university is considered one of the most culturally diversified in Canada.
It is reported that 95.8% of graduates have secured employment within 2 years of graduating.
